The project combines reusable pneumatic scaffolding, heuristic computer optimization, and robotic fabrication.

PROJECTS
The final products of the research are high-performance carbon fiber biomimetic structures weaved using the Kuka robotic arm. The digital workflow incorporated physical prototypes that connected structural optimization strategies into fibrous form. The formal, material and operational possibilities were developed in tandem with environmental performance goals and sustainable principles: speculating on future applications at multiple scales.
