A Pattern Language is 1977 book authored  by Christopher Alexander, Sara Ishikawa and  Murray Silverstein of the UC Berkeley in California.  Set of the patterns presented in the  book described the XX century vision of an  utopian city. Design goal for the Hyperstructure  was to create new set of patterns based  on observation of current changes happening  over the world and vision what can they  bring us in the future. Several patterns were  developed and applied for an existing site in  the post-industrial zone in Bielany, Warsaw.
